Comedian. Columnist. Ice-cream flavour.
Kuah Jenhan has performed for intimate groups of ONE (weird) to crowds of 8,000 people (awesome) and was once even hired to perform at a dog's birthday (weirdly awesome). Jenhan has performed at sold-out shows for paying audiences and corporate events alike in Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and more to come. He was the headliner at the inaugural Comedy Zone Asia at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2015. The following year, his one-hour show, Like This Like Dad, has seen sold out seasons in Melbourne, Darwin, and even picked up a nomination for Best Comedy at the Perth Fringe World 2016. His show, Perfect Stranger, picked up 4 out of 5 stars from the Herald Sun in 2017 and he is set to return to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2018 with ELECTRIC BUTTERFLIES.
Going beyond stand-up, Jenhan is also known for assuming different comedic roles and alter egos from time to time.
Jenhan is also a columnist with Esquire magazine, a script-writer for TV, feature films, and the performing arts. He has also wrote and directed commercials for Smirnoff Ice Malaysia and Uniqlo. A master at multitasking – he is currently working on his international tour and sixth one-hour show slated for 2018 while simultaneously tending to his cat and making speeling errors.
